Jeremy Irvine, born in 1990, in Cambridgeshire, England, is a British actor.
Irvine was raised in Gamlingay, a small village in the English county of Cambridgeshire. His mother, Bridget, is a politician in the local government, and his father, Chris, is an engineer.
Irvine got his first taste in acting when he played Romeo while being educated at Bedford Modern School, an independent school in the county town of Bedford in Bedfordshire, England, followed by the National Youth Theatre and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
Irvine made his TV debut in 2008, playing the role of Luke in the television series “Life Bites.”
In June 2010, Irvine landed his big break when he was cast to play the lead character in the Steven Spielberg film “War Horse”, which was released in January 2012 and was one of the best picture Oscar nominees for 2012.
His other credits include “Great Expectations” and “The Railway Man”.
