Matt Grevers, born March 26, 1985, Lake Forest, Illinois, USA, is an American international swimmer who competes in the backstroke and freestyle events.

At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, Grevers won a gold medal as a part of the 4×100-meter freestyle and medley relay, and a silver medal in the 100-meter backstroke, finishing behind Aaron Peirsol.

Four years later at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, Grevers improved on his silver with gold in the 100-meter backstroke. For Grevers, it was his first individual gold medal.

Grevers is a member of the 2012 United States Olympic team and competed in the 100-meter backstroke and 4×100-meter freestyle relay at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.
