Kieren Jack, born June 28, 1987, in Cherrybrook, New South Wales, Australia, is a professional Australian rules footballer for the Sydney Swans in the Australian Football League (AFL).
Jack’s first experience of Australian rules was in the Paul Kelly Cup in 1998 whilst still in primary school.
In 2007, Jack was promoted from the rookie list. Notable for his tackling and running abilities, he plays as a midfielder for the Swans.
In 2010, Jack made a breakthrough season and improved the offensive side of his game and was also named on the International Rules squad to tour Ireland.
In 2011, Jack hurt his ankle and had to work out how to play well when carrying an injury.
In 2012, with the fitness base he has and being injury-free, expectations are high that he can have a really consistent season and get back to his best.
