Finn Jones, born March 24, 1988, in England, is an English actor, best known for his gay role as Ser Loras Tyrell in the HBO series “Game of Thrones.”
Jones trained at The Arts Educational Schools on a three-year acting course.
Jones made his acting debut in 2009, playing Jamie in the second series of “Hollyoaks.” More television appearances soon followed including in the 11th series of Doctors; two episodes of “The Bill” playing Mark Kennedy.
In 2010, Jones landed his big break when he was cast in the hit fantasy series “Game of Thrones,” the HBO adaptation of George R R Martin’s “A Game of Thrones,” as Loras Tyrell, the gay lover of King Renly Baratheon played by Gethin Anthony.
Although Jones is known predominantly as an actor, he is also a DJ. He is a member of the London based collective “Human Effort.”
