Jack Viney, born 13 April 1994, in Melbourne, Australia, is a professional Australian rules football player at the Melbourne Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL).
Viney is a tough in-and-under midfielder, a fierce tackler and a clearance king. He was recruited by the club with draft pick #26 in the 2012 National Draft as a Father-Son selection, as his father Todd Viney had also played for the club.
His attack on the ball is super impressive. The left-footer fast tracked his development by playing VFL in 2012. He wins plenty of contested ball and tackles hard which could lead to some very nice scores. He made his debut in Round 1, 2013, against Port Adelaide at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
