Ashley Delaney, born April 11, 1986, in Sale, Victoria, Australia, is a national-record holding and Olympic and World Championship medal-winning swimmer from Australia.

His first international success came at the 2006 Oceania Championships, where he set the Championships Records in the 50 m, 100 m and 200 m backstroke.

At the 2008, Delaney won a silver at the Olympics Beijing in the 4 × 100 m medley relay, and a fifth place finish in the 100m backstroke.

At the 2010 Pan Pacific Swimming Championships, Delaney won bronze in the 100 m backstroke. He backed up his form on the second night, taking silver in the 50 m.
