Wesley Trent Stromberg was born in Sequim, Washington on December 6, 1993 and is a member of the band Emblem3 along with his brother Keaton Stromberg, and Drew Chadwick.
Wesley came from an entertainment family and was introduced to the guitar at age six and was writing his own music by age eleven. His first band was call Deferred Prosecution, his second band was called American Scholars. He initially formed Emblem3 with Kenny Galbraith, Kyle Miner, Drew Chadwick and his brother Keaton. Galbraith and Miner left the band when Chadwick and the Stromberg brothers left Washington for Los Angeles.
Emblem3 first auditioned for America’s Got Talent, but dropped out at the last minute after deciding that it wasn’t right for them. They came to prominence after auditioning for and appearing on The X Factor USA in 2012, finishing fourth in the second season of that show. Creator of the show Simon Cowell signed them to his record label Syco Records and they were later signed to Columbia Records.
The band split in 2014, regrouped in 2015 and are currently on hiatus while members pursue their own personal musical careers.
